And finally. A phot of Tour Eiffel.. Received questions if i was going to upload one. So here is it.
Perspective Distortion caused by Ultrawideangle. Tour Eiffel is standing it. Tried a version of corrected perspective, but that doesn't really take effect.
I thought I would write a critique on this, to say why in every way I think this picture is picture-perfect.
First of all, it is a view of the Eiffel Tower I have not seen before; and if I have, then it was done in a much less impressive fashion. The buildings on either side serve many wonderful purposes, as does the marble flooring. Together, they all create a nice framing, all of the lines leading toward the Tower. This makes the Tower the center focus of the picture, as it should be. The buildings also offer a spacial element to the picture. They make it seem so much larger than life, seeing as the people are so very small in comparison. And the tilt of the buildings, while reemphasizing the focus on the Tower, embellish on the sense of size as well as offer a unique perspective. If the buildings appeared vertical, this image just wouldn't have been the same.
The colors in this picture are also magnificent, the shadows and the contrast spot-on, and the reflections just add to the beauty.
This picture, all in all, is architecture and street photography at its very best.
